About Coach Greg

In the business world, I began my career working in Financial Reporting. I graduated from Bucknell University holding Bacheleor’s degree in the Science of Business Administration and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. In my professional career, I have audited for one of the best public accounting firms in the world, and have risen the ranks to become a Vice President at global investment advice firm. My professional career has taught me tremendous amounts about leading a team, interpersonal professional relationships, disciplined work, and balancing life and a career. My work in the professional and financial worlds uniquely positions me to understand the experience of the corporate environment and offer guidance to improve, alter, or shift careers as appropriate.

Concurrent with my professional career, I have become deeply passionate about coaching. In 2018, I found CrossFit after a long divorce from athletics. I became infatuated with CrossFit as a sport and health system. Since then, I have gained certifications including the CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2, Programming, and other specialty certifications. I proudly coached at Babylon Crossfit (a very well renowned Crossfit affiliate) from 2021-2023. I offer a variety of approaches to guide clients to find a way to incorporate movement and fitness into their lives in a way that will work for them. Further, I am determined to guide clients toward spaces that will help them feel supported outside coaching sessions.

Through my own health challenges and curiosity, I have become deeply interested in health and wellness – fitness beyond the gym. As such, I have attained a Level 2 O23 Coaching certificate and I have completed a Diet and Lifestyle course through Wellness Forum Health. I am driven to assist clients in taking their power back from a medical system that constantly declares that there is no method to improve health but the one prescribed in the doctor’s office. I disagree and am passionate about bolstering my clients’ abilities to make appropriate diet and lifestyle changes to unleash the full impact of their vitality.

I am in recovery from drugs and alcohol and have successfully abstained from all substances for an extended period of time. I do not believe one-size fits all when it comes to recovery, but I firmly believe that it is deeply helpful to enlist support and community during the experience of quitting any or all substances. In the modern world, addiction is a deeply complex issue that involves many behaviors from smart-phone use to hard drugs. It is my goal to assist clients in improving their relationship with substances and behaviors and guiding them to appropriate support systems if necessary.

As a coach, I am here to help you become your best you. I am here to help you discover the forces that drive you in life and create a deep and meaningful connection with them. My goal is always to have clients feeling capable and ready to take on the various challenges that life will inevitably throw our way. We will do this through examining all areas of life including health, habits, fitness, professional matters, addiction, personal relationship and more. Don’t waste your gifts – you’re called to thrive!
